About the Workshop

This beginner-friendly workshop introduces you to the process of linocut printing through a hands-on session taught by practicing printmakers, with a focus on carving and printing your own design.

You will learn the fundamentals of transferring an image, carving the block, inking, and hand-printing, ending the session with your own carved A6 linocut block and print to take home. The carved block can continue to be used for making multiple prints independently at home.

The cost includes ₹250/- cover charges redeemable at the venue.
What You Can Bring
If you already have a composition in mind, you’re welcome to bring a sketch or printout to work from. If not, references and visual material will be available during the session for you to choose from.
Important Notes
- All materials will be provided.
- Tools will be available for use during the workshop.
- The reference printout you bring should be A6 size.
- Please arrive at the venue 5 minutes before the mentioned time.
- Wear dark colour clothes to avoid getting ink on light coloured clothes.
- Carry a bag to take your block and print
