About the Workshop

• This beginner-friendly workshop introduces you to the process of linocut printing through a hands-on session taught by practicing printmakers, with a focus on carving and printing your own design.

• You will learn the fundamentals of transferring an image, carving the block, inking, and hand-printing, ending the session with your own carved A6 linocut block and print to take home. The carved block can continue to be used for making multiple prints independently at home.

• The cost includes ₹250/- cover charges redeemable at the venue.

What You Can Bring

If you already have a composition in mind, you’re welcome to bring a sketch or printout to work from. If not, references and visual material will be available during the session for you to choose from.

Important Notes

• All materials will be provided.
• Tools will be available for use during the workshop.
• The reference printout you bring should be A6 size. 
• Please arrive at the venue 5 minutes before the mentioned time.
• Wear dark colour clothes to avoid getting ink on light coloured clothes.
• Carry a bag to take your block and print
