Woodcut Printing Workshops

Woodcut is one of the oldest forms of printmaking, where an image is carved into a wooden block, inked, and transferred onto paper by hand or with pressure. Known for its bold textures, visible grain, and graphic quality, the medium carries a tactile character that is unique to the process itself.

Beyond the technical process, woodcut encourages patience, observation, and a slower, more intentional way of making. The medium offers a hands-on alternative to screen-based creation, allowing participants to engage directly with material, process, and repetition.

By the end of the workshop, participants leave not only with finished prints and carved blocks, but also with the foundational knowledge required to continue exploring the medium independently.
